Obituary for Peter Harczuk
Peter Paul Harczuk, 92, of Tucson, AZ formerly of Pekin, IL passed away Wednesday July 4, 2012 at Hospice Family Care Inpatient Unit at Cypress Courts in Tucson, AZ. He was born January 11, 1920 in Carteret, NJ to Adam and Mary Skoczna Harczuk. He married Lucille Bastonero in Las Vegas, NV in 1972. She survives along with his sister, Pauline of New Jersey and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and two sisters. Peter served in the U.S. Air Force and the Civilian Conservation Corps. He worked for Keysor-Century Corp. in California. A funeral service will be held Wednesday July 11, 2012 at Abts Mortuary in Pekin, IL at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at the funeral home. Fr. Michael Andrejek will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association in his name.
