Obituary for Phyllis Lee Phillips
Phyllis Lee Phillips 68, of Hanna City passed away on Monday October 26, 2009 at her residence. She was born in East Peoria on June 30, 1941 to Henry and Una Stailey Beard. She married Roger Phillips in Pekin on December 2, 1961. He preceded her in death on February 1, 2005. Also proceeding were her parents and brother Albert Beard. She is survived by her sons: Randy (Jenine) of Farmington, Curtis (Kathryn) of Washington, daughter Kathy (Danny) Freerking of Hanna City, sisters Ina (James) Pierce of East Peoria, Glenna (Greg) Bruen of Pekin and her 9 grand and 2 great grandchildren. Phyllis was a Homemaker and loved gardening and spending the winters in Florida. Cremation has been accorded and no services are planned at this time. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
