Obituary for Phyllis Slayback
Phyllis S. Slayback, 71, of Canton passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Renaissance Care Center in Canton. She was born in Kentucky on February 7, 1941. She was preceded in death by her companion, Jerry Huggins in 2008; mother, Imagene Chatterton and sister, Jean Tucker. She is survived by her children, Tony (Lyn) Slayback of Sunman, IN, Cindy (Billy) Herald of Valley Center, KS, Chris (Kirk Linsey) Stambaugh of Canton, Tracy Ford of Canton, Jeff (Cheryle) Slayback of Canton, Brian (Josie Hampton) Slayback of Canton; grandchildren, Vanessa and Anthony Slayback, Jeremy Hall and Jenny Metcalf, Celesta England, Steve Slayback and Kara Ford, Sarah Slayback and Nick Slayback; eight step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and brother, Joe Palmer of Kentucky. Phyllis loved her family. She also loved animals, especially dogs and horses. Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date at Eastside Church of the Nazarene in Canton. Pastor David Utt will officiate.
