Obituary for Ralph C. Gallo Sr.
Ralph C. Gallo Sr. 87, of Peoria formally of Chicago passed away on Wednesday January 28, 2009 at Proctor Hospital. He was born on April 24, 1921 in Chicago, the son of Pasquale and Camella Ricardo Gallo. He married Dorothy Liberatore in Berwyn on March 25, 1950, she survives along with his children; Ralph (Karen) Gallo Jr. of Peoria, Jo Ann Mulhern of Bolingbrook and Lee Ann Wind of Oswego, sisters; Louise (John) Amato of Bellwood, Mary Denatale of Naperville, brother Joseph (Pam) Gallo of Glen Ellyn and his 7 grand and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 sister and 1 brother. Ralph served in the Army during WWII and worked as a Mold Maker for Pelco Tool Co., retiring in 1967 and was of the Roman Catholic faith. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
