Obituary for Randy Mason
Randy Dean Mason 54, of Peoria passed away on Monday July 26, 2010 at his home. Born in Peoria on May 21, 1956 to James and Elaine Walker Mason Sr. He married Candace Surratt on October 30, 1992. She survives along with his mother Elaine Walker of Peoria, children: Christopher, Kyle (Kristy) and Kevin Mason all of Morton, brother James (Madline) Mason of East Peoria, sister Toni (Peter) LaSorsa of Mapleton, granddaughters: Chelsee and Kiley Mason both of Morton and his many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. His maternal grandmother Janette Walker of East Peoria also survives. He was preceded in death by his father and brothers Scott and Brad Mason. Randy was a Snow Plow Operator for the State of Illinois and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Peoria where a memorials service was held on Saturday July 31, at 10 a.m. Pastor Karl Eckhoff will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial of his cremains will be in the Lutheran Cemetery following the service.
