Raymond E. Evans, 83, of Peoria Heights passed away at 8:20 a.m. on Dec 5

2009 at OSF St Clare nursing home. He was born on April 5th, 1926 in Peoria to Raymond and Ruth (Lour) Evans. Raymond married Joan Richman July 16th, 1976 in Peoria Heights, she survives. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother. Raymond attended the Illinois School for the deaf in Jacksonville, Illinois and worked at Goodwill in Peoria for 39 years. Cremation has been accorded. Services will be held on Tuesday Dec 8th at 1:00 pm at Calvary Baptist church in Peoria. Pastor Randy Sanders will Officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church 2200 W Nebraska, Peoria Illinois, 61604. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
