She was born June 30, 1961 in Peoria to Charles M. and Vivian Mae Wainscott Cook. Her parents; one sister and one brother preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Joseph “Joe” (Amie) Cook; grandchildren, James Janis, Kelsie Cook, Richard Janis; siblings, Darryl (Antionette) Steele, Cherryl Steele, John (Marlene) Cook, Thomas (Pam) Cook, Harold Cook, Mary (Albert) Soler and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rebecca worked as a CNA in Canton.
Cremation has been accorded and private family services will be held. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society in her name.
