Obituary for Reginald Clifford Shrid
Reginald Clifford Shird 59, of Peoria passed away on Thursday June 4, 2009 at the VA Hospital in Danville, IL. Born in St. Louis, MO on December 15, 1949 to Loretta Shird. He married Rosie Peer Shird on June 4, 1971, she survives along with his son Lavell Wright of Los Angeles, CA and cousin’s Tuesday Gibson and Eudora Edward. His mother, Son Ladell Wright and grandparents Henry and Mary Armstead preceded him in death. Reginald was a Viet Nam Veteran serving in the Navy. He was a Truck Driver and enjoyed bowling and music. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held on Saturday June 13, at 2 p.m. at Resurrection Power: 2500 N.E. Madison St. Peoria. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. is assisting the family with arrangements.
