Obituary for Ricardo "Rick" G. Ingolia
Ricardo G. Ingolia, 69, of Pekin passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022, at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria, surrounded by his family.
He was born to Sam and Bernadine (Montgomery) Ingolia on February 13, 1953, in Pekin.
Surviving is his mother, Bernadine Ingolia of Pekin; three daughters, Samantha (Corey Golden) Ingolia, Christa (Christopher) Larkner, and Jeana (John) McLoughlin, all of Pekin; six grandchildren, Ella Ingolia, Kali Golden, Bree Golden, Chloe Golden, Olivia Larkner, and Jack McLoughlin. Also surviving, are three siblings, Christine (Timm) Schwartz of Pekin; Shelli (Rick) Jameson of Tremont, and Joe (Erika) Ingolia of Bloomington; as well as three nieces, Lindsay Jameson, Lauren Etter, and Leslie Jameson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sam in 2005.
Rick was employed at, and later owned Sam’s Heating and Air Conditioning in Pekin, from which he retired from in 2006.
Rick discovered his love of music at a young age, playing guitar in many bands throughout the years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, reading, and attending his granddaughter’s numerous musical and sporting events. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, he will be greatly missed by many.
Cremation has been accorded and a memorial visitation will be held at Abts Mortuary in Pekin from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
