Obituary for Richard Anderson
Richard LeRoy Anderson, 72, of Washington passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015 at his residence. He was born June 7, 1943 in Calumet Township, IN to Robert and Cora Powell Anderson. He married Rosemary Terrell, she survives. He is also survived by his children, Richie (Angie) Anderson of Washington, Scott Anderson of East Peoria, Teresa Anderson of East Peoria, Terry (Lorie) Anderson of Peoria Heights, Shane Lafferty of Peoria Heights, Eli Pentecost of Washington; grandchildren, Kyle Anderson, Keegan Arahood, Koltyn Arahood, Curtis Barnhill, Amanda (Kyle) Nixon, Britney Barnhill, Travis Anderson, Tyler Wilson, Halie Wilson, Tyler Anderson, Ashley Anderson and Shane Groft and siblings, Mary (Ray) Chance of Washington, Orce “Andy” Anderson of Mossville and Sharon (Ronnie) Bell of Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dixie Charlton and brother, Raymond Anderson. Richard served in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper. He worked as a plumber for Local Union 63. Cremation has been accorded and private family services will be held. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association in his name.
