Obituary for Richard L. Biggs
Richard L. Biggs 76, of 1205 S. 3rd St. Pekin passed away on Friday April 4, 2008 at his home. Born in Pekin on March 18, 1932 to Thomas and Sylvia Vance Biggs. He married Loretta Roots in Pekin on Jan 31, 1966, she survives along with his sons; Richard (Sheila) Biggs, Rick Biggs and Terry Biggs all of Pekin, daughters; Mary Lou (David) Romer and Edna Mae (Allen) Roark both of Peoria, Tammy (Steven) Seagraves of Pekin, step-daughter Debra (Terry) Bohnert of Pekin, sister Betty Simer of Toone, TN and his 11 grandchildren. Richard worked as a Scrapper for Illinois Iron & Metal, retiring in 1986. Cremation has been accorded and the family will have a Celebration of Richards life at 1 p.m. on Friday April 11th at his home. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. is assisting the family with arrangements.
