Obituary for Richard Livesay
Richard E. Livesay 67, Peoria passed away on Thursday November 12, 2009 at his home. Rich was born August 20, 1942 in Pontiac. He married Teresa Marie Kiley in Cullom, IL on June 5, 1965. She survives along with one daughter, Jennifer (Mickey) Donarski of Washington, two sons, William Livesay of Dunlap and Kevin (Heather) Livesay of Long Grove, six grandchildren: Kyle and Kayla Donarski of Washington, Cole and Nicholas Livesay of Dunlap and Colin and Hailey Livesay of Long Grove. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS and Masters degree in Civil Engineering. Rich held 49 patents from his years as an engineer at Caterpillar with patents 50 and 51 pending. Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made in Rich’s memory to St. Jude Catholic Church in Peoria. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
