Obituary for Richard Williams
Richard Dale Williams 61, of Bartonville passed away Saturday June 4, 2011 at his residence. He was born July 2, 1949 in Eddyville, IL to Benjamin Franklin and Dorothy Ann Smith Williams. He married Mary Ann Willis April 12, 1980 in Peoria. She survives along with his son; Benjamin L. Williams of Sumner, IL, daughters; Rachel (Matt) Lohman of Manito, IL Rhonda (Mike) Goodyear of Danville, IL, 13 grandchildren, brothers; Ted Williams, Lester Williams, sisters; Lee Ettea Sissom, Linda Hintz, Ruby Ann McAllister, Mary Pate and Louise Logsdon. He is also survived by his sister-in-law; Diane Whitlow and special friend; Amy Bejjoudi. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother; Larry Williams. Richard was a SGT. in the U.S. Army serving in Co B 4

S&T Bn for 8 years and worked for Caterpillar. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He will be dearly missed by all. Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date with burial at Camp Butler Cemetery in Springfield.
