Obituary for Ricky Miller
Ricky Edward Miller, 63, of Washington passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria. He was born October 6, 1952 in Peoria to Christian and Esther McCormick Miller. He married Beth Gladson August 5, 1977 in Peoria; she survives. He is also survived by his sons, Eli (Tressa) Miller of Washington, Jesse (Michelle) Miller of Pekin; grandsons, Andrew and Weslee; granddaughter, Carly Beth; sister, Sharon (Curt) Catton of Washington; several nieces and nephews and step-mother, Eleanor Miller of Peoria. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ricky served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for Overhead Door Company from 1992 to 2014. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church 200 Cole Street, East Peoria, IL 61611. Rev. Kurt Mews will officiate. Memorials may be made to his wife to assist with arrangements.
