Obituary for Ricky Potts
Ricky W. Potts, 55, of Pekin passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Pekin Hospital. He was born December 29, 1958 in Pekin to Don and Marian Myers Potts. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Dwight and Robin. He is survived by his son, Ricky Potts of Pekin, brothers, Terry (Cheryl) Potts of Pekin, Ronnie (Jan) Potts of Pekin, Randy Potts of Pekin and several nieces and nephews. Ricky managed Quality Tank Wash in Pekin for 20 years. He later worked for Elecys, last working in October 2013. He liked to camp, hunt, fish and work on cars. Ricky was an eye donor. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the VFW in Pekin from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The family would like to give the 5th floor Nurse’s at Pekin Hospital a special thanks for all the care given to Ricky. Memorials may be made to the family to assist with arrangements.
