Obituary for Rita Fistler
Rita J. Fistler 78, of Peoria Heights passed away Monday August 22, 2011 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born April 29, 1933 in Peoria Heights to Oliver and Lillian Hemphill Draher. She married George Fistler in Tampa, FL August 19, 1952. He preceded her in death November 4, 2007. She is also preceded in death by her parents, 7 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by her sons, Richard and David, brother, George (Colleen) Draher of Pekin and sister, Mary Janke of Peoria. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Peoria. Cremation has been accorded and graveside services will be held Saturday August 27, 2011 at Blue Ridge Cemetery in Edelstein, IL at 10am. Rev. Karl F. Eckhoff will officiate. Memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran School in Peoria.
