Obituary for Robert D Barnes
Robert D. Barnes 52, of Peoria passed away on Sunday March 5, 2017 at Methodist Hospital. Born in Ponchatoula, LA on October 13, 1964 to Walter and Peggy Phillips Barnes. He is survived by his mother and step-father Peggy (Duane) Chapman, children: Jessica Corder, Michelle Barnes, Kylie Barnes, there mother Joy Barnes, siblings: William Latil, Peggy Heidel, Donna Mills, Phillip Barnes, grandchildren: Jocelyn, Kohl, Maddie, Kahdyn, Kameron, Gracie, Karson, Maelynn, Estrella and several nieces and nephews. His fathe preceded him in death. Robert served in the U.S. Army, was a diesel mechanic from 1989 to 1994 at Consolidated Freightways and worked as a Crane Operator putting up powerlines. He loved to race cars and work on telephone poles. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
