Obituary for Robert Slover
Robert “Bob” Slover, 57 of Peoria Heights passed away on Thursday March 31, 2011 at his home. He was born to Richard W. and Viola A. Simons Slover on February 13, 1954 in Burlington, IA. He is survived by his sister; Katherine (Phillip) Addy of Reynoldsburg, OH, brother; Kevin (Lori) Slover of Napa, ID and several nieces and nephews. His parents preceded him in death. Robert was retired from ICC and during his retirement he was active in teaching certification classes for the UBCJA. He was active in volunteering with WTVP 47 and was Secretary of the Peoria County Democratic Central Committee. Robert had a passion with Photography and love of reading. Cremation has been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be announced in the near future. Memorials may be made to WTVP 47 in Roberts name.
