Obituary for Rodney DeBolt
Rodney Keith DeBolt, 57, of Morton passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Fondulac Nursing Home in East Peoria. He was born September 30, 1959 in Peoria to Harold B. and Shirley Jean Hartman DeBolt. His parents preceded him in death. He is survived by his sons, Justin N. DeBolt, Joshua R. Debolt; grandson, Nathanial A. DeBolt; former wife, Herma J. DeBolt; brothers, Brad B. (Jill) DeBolt, Kevin T. DeBolt, Gary D. (Kim) DeBolt and several nieces and nephews. Rodney graduated from Deer Creek Mackinaw High School. He worked at Morton Metal Craft, Norfolk & Southern Railroad and was part owner of DeBolt Brothers in Deer Creek. He also worked as a bricklayer for Jerry Debolt. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Abts Mortuary in Pekin. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation. Memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in his name.
