Ronald Lee Feagin Sr., 76, of Bartonville died at 9:30 p.m. on Monday, May 3, 2021, at
UnityPoint Health Pekin in Pekin, IL, surrounded by family.
He was born June 12, 1944 in Paducah, KY to Cliff and Opal Tucker Feagin. He
married Trudy Dowell November 17, 1962 in Peoria, IL, and later married Jenifer Colson of Wisconsin. He is survived by his brother, Randy Feagin Sr.; his children, Ronald (Jessica) Feagin Jr. of Bartonville, IL, Roger (Daphne) Feagin of Independence, KY, Rich (Shirley) Feagin of Rockford, IL and Barbara Feagin of Leesburg, FL; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ron worked at Hiram Walker in his early years, Caterpillar, Pleasant Valley School
District and Century 21. He was also a small business owner of a dry bar and motorcycle repair shop. His most important job though was that of a counselor and sponsor for drug and alcohol addicts. He was an avid motorcyclist his whole life resulting in a brotherhood of friends that became family. Ron was a devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan and liked to talk politics.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Abts Mortuary in Pekin, IL. COVID guidelines will be followed, and mask are required. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation.
