Obituary for Ronald Tindall Sr.
Ronald Joe Tindall Sr. 74, of Pekin passed away on Saturday April 3, 2010 at Timber Creek in Pekin. Born in West Frankfort on November 28, 1935 to Elmer and Molean Murray Tindall. He married Kathleen Anton in 1963 and then married Linda Barnum in 1977. He is survived by his children: William (Sara) Tindall and Richard Tindall both of Pekin, Ronald (Cindy) Tindall Jr. of Marquette Heights, Dawn (John) Callear of Peoria, Kim (fiancée Paul Franco) Roberts of East Peoria, sister Betty Dail of Christopher, IL and his 11 grand and 2 great grandchildren. The family’s special friend Linda Rynearson also survives. His parents, brother Robert and ex-wife Kathleen preceded him in death. Ronald served in the Air Force and worked as a Mechanic at Carl Nichols Shell Station in Pekin, retiring on October 1, 2000. Cremation has been accorded and a graveside service will be held on Saturday April 10, at the War Veterans cemetery in Pekin at 11 a.m. with Military rites by the U.S. Air force and the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team followed by a Celebration of Life at the Amvets 1426 S. 2
