Obituary for Ronnie Jolliff
Ronnie C. Jolliff, 56, of Pekin passed away Monday, August 24, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born August 30, 1958 in Peoria to Euin and Barbara Cleary Jolliff. He married Vicky Pitts August 16, 1992 in Texas, she survives. He is also survived by his son, Tyler E. Jolliff of Pekin; mother, Barbara E. Hammer of Peoria; brothers, Ricky Jolliff of Texas, Richard Jolliff of Green Valley; son, Ron Jolliff Jr., of Peoria; granddaughter, Alexis Jolliff of Peoria; several, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his beloved pets, Sheba, Little Bit and Chopper. He was preceded in death by his father. Ronnie worked for G&D Inc. in Morton. He was a wonderful husband, father and son. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman and hunter and he loved to camp and cook. He also loved to play pool and drink beer. He will be greatly missed. Cremation has been accorded and a graveside service will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria. A celebration of life and benefit will be held Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Eagles Club 1704 S. East Lane in Peoria. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in his name.
