Obituary for Rose Carrington
Rose M. Carrington 70, of Peoria passed away Friday August 6, 2010 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born November 30, 1939 to Robert and Hazel Bartholomew Gorgas in Peoria. She married Walter Carrington in Spring Bay in 1989. He preceded her in death in 2002. She is also preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, and 1 granddaughter. She is survived by her children; Pamela (Frank) Davis of Peoria, Daniel Dismang of Peoria, Janice (Bill) Donahue of El Paso, James Dismang of Peoria, step-son; Walter (Tobi) Carrington of Chillicothe, and step-daughters; Marilyn (George) Riggs of Peoria, and Joanne (Ray) Penwell of Bartonville. Rose is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, and her sister; Helen Blackard of Pekin. Cremation has been accorded and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday August 21, 2010 at 3pm at the 1
