Obituary for Rosemary Kemper
Rosemary A. Kemper, 80, of Pekin passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Hallmark House in Pekin. She was born November 8, 1936 in Canton to George P. and Ann F. Matkovich Stanfel. She married Kenneth A. Kemper November 3, 1956 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Canton; he survives. She is also survived by her son, David A. (Cynthia) Kemper; daughter, Denise A. (Joseph) Haley; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and brother, George (Mary) Stanfel. She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild. Rosemary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin where a funeral mass will be held Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 10 a.m. Father Michael Andrejek will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Abts Mortuary in Pekin. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society in Pekin in her name.
