Obituary for Rosemary Whittenburg
Rosemary Whittenburg, 70, of Pekin passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 at Hallmark House in Pekin.
She was born September 23, 1949 to Lawrence and Salvena Bussone Haas.
She married James Whittenburg October 21, 1972 in West Palm Beach, Fl; he preceded her in death June 30, 1990. Her parents also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children, Eric Whittenburg, Caterina (Shane) Richardson; grandchildren, Milo Whittenburg, Penelope Whittenburg, Gavin Richardson and sister, Evelyn Hackney.
Rosemary was a proud military wife, mother, and grandmother. She spent her life taking care of babies and loving each one; she retired in 2005. She was an avid quilter and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Father Michael Andrejek will officiate.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude in her name.
