Obituary for Russell Pusey
Russell Leon Pusey 67, of Pekin passed away Wednesday February 23, 2011 at his residence. He was born February 27, 1943 in Peoria to Clyde and Eileen Flanigan Pusey. He married Sharron Uphoff March 28, 1964 in Creve Coeur. She survives along with his 2 daughters; Roxanna Keyes of Champaign, Shari Wage of Pekin and son; Rusty Pusey of Pekin. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Russell worked for Caterpillar retiring November 1, 1992. He was a member of the Pekin Moose Lodge for 27 years, and an avid fisherman and hunter all of his life. He also enjoyed playing cards. He was very beloved by his children and grandchildren. Cremation has been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held Monday February 28, 2011 at Abts Mortuary in Pekin from 5 pm to 7 pm.
