Obituary for Ruth C. Sea
Ruth Clara Sea, 88 of Arlington, VA formally of Pekin passed away on Thursday November 12, 2009 at Virginia Hospital Center. Born in Milwaukee, WI on January 15, 1921 to Arthur and Julia B Bethe DeLonge. She married Edgar Sea in Pekin on May 30, 1947. He preceded her in death on November 25, 1985. Also proceeding were her son James Sea and brothers; Kenneth and Harold DeLonge. Ruth is survived by her children; Myrna (Neville) Harvilla of Green valley, Rev. Glen (Phil Soucy) Sea of Arlington, VA, sister Caroline Salgado of Spring Hill, FL, daughter-in-law Vivian Sea of Pekin, grandchildren: Darrin Harvilla, Tonya Southwood, Denise Maneno, Kristine Schultz and her six great grandchildren. She worked in Administrative Services at Pekin Insurances, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Pekin where a funeral service will be held on Thursday November 19th at 10 a.m. Rev. Dennis R. Scoville will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin. Visitation will be at Abts Mortuary on Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to LGBT youth summer camp program, 2511 E. Franklin Ave. Minneapolis, MN 55406, Hope Lutheran Church Mission Endowment Fund, 4604 Ravensworth Rd.
