Obituary for Samuel Moyer
Samuel Orion Moyer, 14, of Dunlap passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born September 24, 2003 in Peoria to William Moyer and Ursula Towne. He is survived by his mother, Ursula (Brett Moore) Towne; father, William (Alma Sander-Moyer) Moyer; brothers, Vantine Moyer, Ian Lister, Cameron Lister; grandparents, Garth and Wilma Towne, Ed and Mary Moyer, Clint and Kathy Moore; great-grandmother, Mattie Moore and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Sam loved spending time with his friends and family; especially at his birthday party celebrating his 14th birthday. He loved animals, reading, video games and most of all feeling the wind in his hair. He was loving and caring with a larger than life personality who always thought of others. Samuel Orion will be greatly missed by all fortunate enough to know and love him. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Abts Mortuary in Pekin. Cremation will be accorded. Memorials may be made to OSF St. Francis Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Peoria in his name.
