Obituary for Sandra "Sandy" L. Scotti
Sandra L. Scotti (80) of Pekin, Illinois passed away at 8:50pm, on January 19th, 2022 at her home in Pekin, Illinois surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born on July 11th, 1941, in Pekin, to William “Spud” Dagit and Louise “Smitty” Dagit. They, along with Sandra’s brother Earl and oldest son, Greg, preceded her in death. She was married to Richard “Dick” Scotti on September 2nd, 1961 and celebrated 60+ beautiful and eventful years of marriage. He survives along with daughter-in-law, Jill and four children, James ``Jim” (Barbara), Brian, Rick (Dori) and Christine “Christy” (Tom) Bresnahan. Also surviving are her 10 cherished grandchildren; Tori, Jenna, Trent, Jon, Trey, Ashley (Rand), Lindsey, Josh, Kennedy and Samantha and 1 great grandson; Jace.

Sandra graduated from Pekin Community High School in 1959 and was co-owner of Atlas Supply Company in Pekin. She was a volunteer for The Reach to Recovery program where she assisted women with breast cancer. Her life centered around her loving husband, children and grandchildren. She had a very special love for life which she enjoyed spending with her mother and daughter shopping on Fridays for their girls day out. She enjoyed the moments she was able to spend with her son's whether it was going to their ball games, spending the work week at the office with them or simply going to their homes to see her grandchildren. Her favorite time was spent with her loving husband, Dick. The two of them together left a lasting impression on many lives. She is and will always be loved by so many.

The family has decided to forgo a visitation. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Monday January 24th, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin, Illinois. Burial will be immediately following the service at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin. Food and drinks will be provided for a gathering from 12:30pm to 4:30pm at the Pekin Moose Lodge following the funeral services.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: St. Joseph Catholic Church or Unity Point Foundation in memory of Sandy Scotti.
