Obituary for Sandra Walker
Sandra Kay Walker, 69, of Washington passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Kindred Hospital in Peoria. She was born November 1, 1943 in Peoria to Laverne and Fay Bilbrey Lavaux. She married Raymond Walker March 30, 1963 in Peoria, he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Ronnie; parents; three sisters and one brother. She is survived by her son, Timothy Walker of Manito and one grandson. Sandra worked for Moreland & DeVitt Pharmacy in Rushville retiring in 1994. She loved horseback riding and her pets. Playing the organ with others brought her great joy. In May of 1997 she came to faith and was baptized in Her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She attended New Life Christian Fellowship in North Pekin, where a memorial service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 5 p.m. Pastor Chuck Wilcox will officiate. Cremation has been accorded. Memorials may be made to any charity in lieu of flowers.
