Sarah Maxine Tosi, 91, of Pekin, IL passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Hallmark Healthcare of Pekin.
She was born on November 3, 1934, in Bushnell, IL to Dale and Lillie Lorton Ruark. She married Alvado Tosi in Elko, NV on March 6, 1991; he preceded her in death on January 6, 2011. Her parents; daughter, Becky Harmon; son, Steve Wisenburg; daughter-in-law, Cathy Ruark; sister, Alice Martin and brother, Ed Ruark also preceded her in death.
Sarah is survived by her daughter, Cathy Pearson of Peoria, IL; sons, Richard Ruark of Canton, IL, Randy Wisenburg of Peoria, IL; stepdaughter, Kay Tosi of Denver, CO and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin, IL.
Sarah loved her family dearly. She enjoyed visiting with her children and grandchildren. Sarah also loved fishing and traveling out west to visit her stepdaughter with her late husband, Alvado.
Private family services will be held.
Memorials may be made to Illinois Cancer Care in Peoria in her name.
