Obituary for Scott Moore
Scott D. Moore, 47, of Pekin, passed away to be with our Lord on October 23, 2015 at Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, Illinois. He was born March 1, 1968 to Kathleen M. (Roberts) Moore and Stanley E. Moore in Pekin. He worked for several years at Superior Consolidated in Bartonville. He was an avid life long Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. He supported them enthusiastically up until the day of his passing. His last wish was to see the Cubs beat the Cardinals in the playoffs this year. He was a fantastic uncle to his many nephews and nieces. He also enjoyed golfing with his brothers and friends when he was able. He was a member of First Missionary Church of North Pekin which he attended faithfully. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen M. Moore of Pekin, and his siblings, Aprille Ladendorf of Pekin, Edward Moore of Pekin, Cary (Joyce) Moore of Sandwich, Illinois, Eileen (Patrick) Harmon of Sanford, Florida, Craig (Theresa) Moore of Mancelona, Michigan, Judi Massey of Pekin, Mark (Jennifer) Moore of North Pekin, and Brent (Cheryl) Moore of Olathe, Kansas and his many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his brother, Stanley A. O. Moore of Pekin and his father, Stanley E. Moore of Pekin just 10 days prior on October 13, 2015. The family would like to express their appreciation for the fantastic care Scott received from the staff at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home of Peoria and also to the staff and physicians at Loyola University Hospital in Chicago and transplantation team for their extraordinary care. There will be a combined memorial service for Scott and his father, Stanley E. Moore, on November 14, 2015 at 4:00 pm at First Missionary Church of North Pekin. Memorial contributions may be made to prior said church.
