Obituary for Scott Piro
Scott E. Piro, 53, of Pekin passed away on January 29, 2015 in the E.R. at Pekin Hospital. Born in Pekin to Gerald and Nina Merritt Piro on October 25, 1961. He is survived by his brothers, Gene (Marsha) Piro, Gary (Becky) Piro and Dave Piro all of Pekin; sisters, Donna Piro of Sacramento, CA, Miranda (Dr. Allen) Bernstein of Tustin, CA, Cindy Piro Winget of Pekin, Millie Piro-Heilman of Streator; children, Amanda Piro of Mason City, Kevin Piro and Brittany Morrow both of Pekin; 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his best friend Joe (Stacey) Gianessi and his special friend of 20 years Judy Ronke. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Terri Wheat. Scott served in the Army and worked as a laborer. Cremation has been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday February 7th at the New Life Fellowship, 1014 Derby St. Pekin. Pastor Mark Utech will officiate. Burial of cremains will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to Scott’s family.
