Obituary for Sharon Ritter
Sharon “Shaw” Anne Ritter, 81, of Pekin passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Pekin Hospital. She was born September 6, 1934 in Peoria to Horace and Fern FitzHenry McCaddon. She married James A. Ritter November 14, 1953, he survives. She is also survived by her son, William (Pamela) Ritter of Pekin; daughter, Nancy (Robert) Porter of Pekin; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and sister, Elaine (Michael) Scholle of California. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Shaw was a registered nurse and wrote the column “Pshaw” for the Pekin Daily Times for many years. Per her wishes, cremation has been accorded and no services will be held. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society in her name.
