Obituary for Sharon Selburg
Sharon Selburg, 74, of Pekin Illinois passed away peacefully Sunday October 30, 2016 at Pekin Hospital at 7:44 p.m. She had been ill for a while but was always surrounded by loving family members. Sharon was born August 23 1942 in Indianapolis Indiana to Woodrow Wilson Noel and Juanita Merle (Link) Gann.
She married Maurice M. Selburg on May 10th, 1961 who passed away March 13, 2001, they were no longer married but they had four kids from their thirteen year marriage. Surviving are her children, daughter Diane L. Selburg of Pekin, sons Ronald A. Selburg of Texas, James D. Selburg of Peoria, Mark S. Selburg of Tennessee, her mother, Juanita Gann of Washington Illinois, her sister Rose and (Dave) Morse of Germantown Hills, four brothers, Larry Gann of Indiana, Russell Gann of Downers Grove, John Gann of Washington, and Don (Robbin Novac) Kalb of Norwood. She had four grandchildren, Christina (Neil) Fox of Henry, Jessica L. Selburg of Texas, Ashley (Jared) Davis, and Cory M. Selburg of Texas. She was preceded in death by the man who raised her, Marvin Gann, and the father of her children.
Sharon was a mother and grandmother to many, and she could always be found working one of her many puzzle books or puzzles. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 11 to 1 at Franciscan Recreation Complex, located at 908 North Sterling Avenue, West Peoria Illinois. Services from 11.30 to Noon and food will be served after.
