Obituary for Stanford "Jitter" Randle
Stanford W. “Jitter” Randle, 78, of Glasford passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at Holly Brook in Pekin. He was born February 22, 1939 in Peoria to Ellis and Eva Phillips Randle. He married Karen D. Johanson February 7, 1959 at St. John Lutheran Church in Bartonville; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Scott (Rose) Randle, Jackie (Doug) Crank, Craig (Paula) Randle; grandchildren, Katie (Chase) Lhamon, Kelsey Randle, Nicholas Deig, Ben Deig, Alisa Crank and great-grandchildren, Kodi Lynn and Gracie. His parents; brother, Ellis Randle and sister-in-law, Diane Randle preceded him in death. Jitter attended Limestone High School and Bradley University. He worked as a crane operator for Keystone; retiring in 2000. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, water skiing, snow skiing and snowmobiling. He was a hard worker and loved his family and faith very much. He was a member of the Moose, American Legion and St. Peter Lutheran Church 13221 W. Todd School Rd. Glasford, IL 61533 where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. with visitation starting at 10 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Pastor Harlan Kaden will officiate. There will be a funeral luncheon following the service. Cremation will be accorded. Memorials may be made to his church or Comfort Plus Hospice in his name.
