Obituary for Stanley Moore
Stanley A. O. Moore 59, of Pekin passed away on Monday April 12, 2010 at his residence. Born in Rock Island to Stanley E. and Kathleen Maquet Moore on August 8, 1950. He is survived by his parents of Pekin, children: Jeffery A. Moore of Cary, NC, Jennifer (Beau) Moore Williams of Henry, Jason Moore of Pekin, siblings: April (Randy) Ladendorf, of Pekin, Cary (Joyce) Moore of Sandwich, Eileen (Pat) Harmon, of FL, Craig (Theresa) Moore of MI, Eddie Moore of TX, Judy (Chester) Massey, Mark (Jenny) Moore and Scott Moore all of Pekin, Brent (Cheryl) Moore of KS, grandchildren: Carson, Teagan and Bella and his many nieces and nephews. Stanley served in the Army during Vietnam, was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local Union #1 and worked as a Journeyman, retiring in 2007. Cremation has been accorded and burial of his cremains will be Friday April 16

at 3 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Pekin with military rites by the U.S. Army. There will also be a Memorial service from 6 to 8 p.m. at the First Missionary Church in North Pekin. Pastor Tony Darr will officiate. Refreshments will also be served in the Sander’s building next to the church. Memorials may be made to the First Missionary Church, 124 Lincoln Blvd, North Pekin, 61554.
