Obituary for Stella Yocum
Stella L. Yocum, 90, of Pekin passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Morton Villa. She was born April 24, 1925 in Trivoli to Ray and Katherine Geltmaker Frank. She married George T. Yocum June 27, 1942 in Palmyra, MO; he preceded her in death July 17, 1995. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Rick L. Yocum; granddaughter, Sherry Brink and brother, Leslie Frank. She is survived by her son, George D. (Cynthia) Yocum of Pekin; daughter, Diana Brink of Centralia; granddaughers, Susette Yocum, Kelly DuBois, Kimberly Strubhar, Lisa Maxey and eight great-grandchildren. Cremation has been accorded and a private graveside service will be held at Trivoli Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Twin Oaks Parents Group in Pekin or to a charity of the donor’s choice in her name.
