Tanya "Big Kahunna" Marie Silas, 50, of Peoria passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born May 2, 1965 in Chicago to Tony Johnson and Gwendolyn Crosswhite. Her parents preceded her in death. She is survived by her fiancée, Robert “Bobby” Williams of Peoria; children, Andre Crosswhite of Illinois, Carolyn Crosswhite of Peoria, Pierre (Pamela) Silas of Peoria, Jason Williams of Georgia, Ashonta Williams of Georgia, Markus Williams of Georgia, Chase Williams of Indiana, Trenton Williams of Georgia, Christopher Williams of Indiana; brother, Tony (LeAnne Mason) Johnson, Jr. of Virginia; mother-in-law, Zinnie Williams Turner of Peoria; father-in-law, James William Sr. of Tennessee and many grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Tanya worked as a CNA for P.A.R.C. in Peoria. She enjoyed fishing and traveling. She loved to help others. Cremation has been accorded and a Memorial Service and Repass will be held Friday, June 12, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at New Life Christian Church 2018 W. Kellogg Ave. West Peoria, IL 61604.
