Obituary for Ted Weston
Ted Weston 87, of Peoria passed away on January 21, 2008 at Manor Care Health Services in Peoria. Born in Wyoming, IL on October 19, 1920 to Roy and Rose Darlington Weston, he married Gail Ames in Paducah, KY on December 17, 1949, she survives along with his children; Alan (Dee) Greiner of Mapleton, Brian Weston and Debbie (John) Patterson both of Peoria and 4 grand and 7 great grandchildren. His 2 sisters and brother preceded him in death. Ted served in the Army during WWII and was a prisoner of war. He worked for 42 years in Instrument Repair at the Tech Center for Caterpillar. He is a former member of First Federated Church in Peoria and the Isaac Walton League. Cremation has been accorded and no service will be held. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetic Association. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. is assisting the family with arrangements.
