Obituary for Thomas Anderson
Thomas J. “Ashgen” Anderson 17, of Peoria passed away Thursday October 7, 2010 in Peoria. Born in Canton to Kevin and Joni Hendon Anderson on February 23, 1993. He is survived by his mother Joni (Joe) Anderson Berry of Peoria, father Kevin (Jennifer) Anderson of Canton, brothers: Braden S. Anderson of Chandlerville, Tyler S Anderson of Peoria, sisters: Madison L. Anderson of Canton, Lisa M. Key of Pekin, paternal grandparents Scott and Nancy Anderson of St. David, nephew Dorian L. Avery of Pekin and many other family and close friends. His maternal grandparents John and Georgia Hendon preceded him in death. Thomas was a student at Richwoods High School, loved computers, bike riding, skateboarding and was an organ donor. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held on Friday October 15, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Maples Mill Methodist Church in rural Canton. Rev. Jerry Sawyer will officiate. A benefit will also be held on Saturday October 16, at the Sparky’s Bar and Grill in Peoria starting at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ashgen Memorial Fund care of Deb Richardson 1410 Lincoln Pekin, IL 61554.
