Obituary for Thomas Rexall Hurst
Thomas Rexall Hurst 80, of Canton passed away on Wednesday November 26, 2008 at Graham Hospital. Born in Peoria on March 15, 1928 to Adam and Olivia Margaret West Hurst. He married Virginia Elizabeth Hughes in Peoria on December 8, 1946, she survives along with his children; Adam Hurst of Denver CO, Irene (Dan) Lyniuk of St. Augustine, FL, sister Phyllis Jean Pierson of Peoria, brother Leon Hurst of Fort Wayne, IN and his 2 grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death. Thomas served in the Army Reserves and worked as a Data Processor for Dow Chemical. He also belonged to the Trinity Lutheran Church, AF & AM Mason, Eastern Star and the American Legion. Cremation has been accorded The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. Pekin/Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
