Obituary for Vanessa Baer
Vanessa L. Baer, 56, of Peoria passed away Sunday, February 14, 2016 at UnityPoint Health Methodist. She was born July 21, 1959 in Havana to James and Rose Skiles Baer. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents. She is survived by her parents of Rushville; sister, Margaret Ann (Harry) Wyman of East Peoria; brothers, Joe Baer of Peoria, John (Pam) Baer of Reno, NV, Phillip (Robin) Baer of Peoria; aunt, Sandy (Ted) Stambaugh of Rushville; many nieces and nephews; friends, Melody and Larry Beach of Peoria and her God children, Leah, Laura and Michael. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Peoria for over 20 years. She was a beautiful person and very kind and loving to others. She is happy with the Lord. Cremation has been accorded and services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in her name.
