Obituary for Veronica Alldredge
Veronica S. Alldredge, 73, of Peoria passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at her residence. She was born September 12, 1942 in Peoria to Frank and Ruth DeMoss Palladini. She married George Alldredge in 1992; he preceded her in death in 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sons, Jeff Cody, Johnny Cody; sister, Donna Barton and brother, Frank Palladini. She is survived by her sons, Jay (Malachi) Cody of East Peoria, Jack Cody of Peoria, Ralph (Brittany) Cody of Peoria, Derek Cody of Peoria; daughters, Ruth (Donnie) Drowns of Peoria, Stella Cody of Peoria; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Andrew (Kathy) Smith of East Peoria, Earl Smith of East Peoria; sister, Sueann (Bob) Hunkepillar of Ipava and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday, January 18, 2016 at Abts Mortuary in Pekin from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation. Burial will be at Camp Butler in Springfield at a later date.
