Vickie E. Dornon 59, of East Peoria passed away on Tuesday July 1, 2008 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born in St. Louis, MO on April 5, 1949 to Frank and Violet Verdier Wright. She married Barry L. Dornon on Sept 6, 1974, he survives along with her mother of Las Vegas, children: Matthew (Sarah) Shifley and Chad Dornon both of Boise, ID, Kristine (Keven) Marion of Germantown Hills, sisters: Susan (Larry) Porter of Dittmer, MO, Penny (Jerry) Hively of Ashland City, TN, Mary (Russell) Ham of St. Ann, MO, Sherry Laspe of Parker, CO, brothers Todd and Butch Wright both of Las Vegas and her grandchildren: Kristian, Kennadi, Kassadi and Kaden Marion. Her father preceded her in death. Cremation has been accorded and no services will be held. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her name to the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation: 636 Morris Turnpike Suite 3A Short Hills, New Jersey 07078. The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. is assisting the family with arrangements.
