Obituary for Wanda Ball
Wanda W. Ball, 80, of Morton passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born June 30, 1936 in Pekin to Ralph and Wilmadean Monroe Harris. She was previously married to Dale W. Ball; he survives. She is also survived by her sons, Michael J. (Elizabeth) Ball, Mark A. Ball, John D. Ball; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Justin, Travis, Trent, Cortney, Katie, Tyler, Connor; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Gabe, Hunter, Lilly, Trevor and sister, Ruth Ann McElroy. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Shirley Wilson. Wanda was a graduate of OSF School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse working for Apostolic Christian Restmor Nursing Home; retiring in 2009. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pekin and Groveland Missionary Church. She hosted Bible Study and enjoyed card making and shopping. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Groveland Missionary Church 5043 Queenwood, Groveland, IL 61535 at 4 p.m. with a visitation from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the church. Pastor Marvin Claassen will officiate. Cremation will be accorded following the service.
