Obituary for Wanda L. Bauer
Wanda L. Bauer, 90, of Manito, IL passed away Monday, January 13, 2025, at Carle Health Pekin Hospital.
She was born November 4, 1934, in Jefferson City, MO to Lonnie and Golda Crawford Williams.
She married the love of her life, Stephen P. Bauer on July 16, 1955, in Missouri; he preceded her in death September 17, 2024. Her parents; brothers, Danny Williams, Richard Williams and sister, Wilma Williams also preceded her in death.
Wanda is survived by her sister, Joy Cook; sister-in-law, Linda Bauer and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She loved reading, listening to music and her cat, Tabitha.
Wanda was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin where a funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025. Father Michael Andrejek will officiate. Burial will be held in Kirksville, MO at a later date.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin or Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Manito in her name.
