Obituary for Weslye Skillestad
Weslye Michael Skillestad, 34, of Pekin passed away Monday, August 3, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Peoria on November 16, 1980 to Lloyd Cary and Debbi Skillestad. He married Carrie Meyers April 3, 2004 in Delavan, she survives. He is also survived by his children, Hailey Skillestad of Pekin, Gavin Skillestad of Pekin; granddaughters, Tatum Skillestad, Emily Skillestad; brothers, Jeremy Cary of Champaign, Devin Cary of East Peoria and aunt, Nancy Skillestad of Bartonville. He was preceded in death by his parents and cousin, Shelby. He loved photography, BMX bike riding and playing disc golf. He was an avid Cardinals fan. Cremation has been accorded and a private family service will be held. Memorials may be made to his family.
