Obituary for William Sutton
William A. Sutton, 86, of Pekin passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at his residence. He was born June 13, 1931 in Mapleton to Horace W. and Doris Irene McCants Sutton. He married Patricia J. Elliott February 2, 1957 in Pekin; she preceded him in death February 9, 2015. His parents; four brothers and three sisters also preceded him in death. He is survived by his children, Vickie (J.T.) Tarvin, Mark (Jacque) Sutton, Sandra (Chad) Haynes, Gary (Angie) Sutton, Clint Fitzanko; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; sisters, Jackie Davis, Frances Dugger and brother, Chuck Patterson. William served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Pekin Hospital. He enjoyed fishing, CB Radios, watching deer and eagles. Cremation has been accorded and a memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Emmanuel Community Church 1100 Hamilton Street, Pekin, IL 61554 at 3 p.m. Pastor Jeff Leeman will officiate.
