Obituary for William Baker
William Lewis Baker 62, of Bartonville passed away Wednesday August 4, 2010 at his home. He was born August 18, 1947 to James and Hazel Risinger Baker in Golconda, IL. Survived by his son William J. Baker and fience Jolene Hicks of Canton, Wife of twenty years Diana Baker and Children Tom Lindsey of Mapleton, Denny Lindsey, Tami (Jodi) Carroll and Shawn Rosenak all of Bartonville, Michelle (Jeff) Spears of Sheffield and Angela Blythe of Canton. His siblings Wayne (Linda) Baker of Bartonville, Glen “Butch” (Betty) Stallings of Peoria, Terry (Joyce) Kohlbuss of Brimfield, Diane (Keith) Gunn of Decatur, Luann (John) Anthony of Sparland, Sam (Wendy) Baker of Wyoming, Charlie Baker of Colorado, Lori (Dwight) Gardner of Colorado, J.T. (Karen) Hankis of California, Butch (Virginia) Hankis of California, Connie Lambie of Hanna City, Patricia Sue Baylor of Bartonville, 16 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and many loving friends. Bill “Bartender” retired from G & D Integrated in Morton after 18 years of service. He was an avid fisherman, golfer, and Cardinal fan. He was a member of the Bartonville American Legion and the Bartonville Lions Club. Cremation has been accorded and a graveside service will be held Saturday August 21, 2010 at the Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria with a Memorial service following at Club Phoenix in Bartonville’s industrial park.
